December is a great time to be in Saint George at a vacation home and to explore the beautiful state and national parks around the area. Most of the parks are quiet and peaceful and the afternoons are mild and just about perfect for doing some hiking and biking. This may be one of our favorite times of the year and we often find ourselves enjoying time outdoors exploring the great hiking and mountain biking trails or going on an ATV ride during this time of year.
The month of December is also an amazing time to gather with family and friends and celebrate the Christmas holiday and the start to another year. The Cliff Dwellers Retreat, located just north of Saint George, is an amazing vacation rental to gather family and friends to celebrate Christmas and New Years and to do some exploring outdoors.
Cliff Dwellers Retreat has great access to both Zion National Park and Red Cliffs National Recreation Area. Both these spectacular areas are amazing for hiking and enjoying the red rock scenery and spectacular canyons. Nearby is also the Sand Hollow State Park where guests will be able to spend time riding ATVs and side by sides on the sand hills and trails. Those on a Saint George vacation will also want to spend some time just relaxing at the Cliff Dwellers Retreat private pool and hot tub and soaking in the beautiful views from this Saint George vacation home.
For those that enjoy golfing the Copper Rock Golf Course is just down the road and is a fantastic course. December is a great time of year to play a round or two on this scenic and fun golf course.
